Pure Mutts is a private sanctuary founded after Hurricane Ike by Priyanka Johri. It's not an open shelter. It's not a city, county or government shelter. Sanctuary visit is by appointment only as sanctuary is in a private home. Sanctuary I'd for older, hospice cases, special needs dogs, sick n injured dogs that need special car Priyanka's funds the sanctuary from her earnings as a realtor. Most appointments are on Sunday between 1 PM and 4 PM if she does not have a client to show homes to. Others time can be requested and if she had time available she will accomodate the visit.
