Annabelle Acres is a family-operated non-profit 501(c)(3) Labrador Retriever adoption organization. Our labs come in from licensed Lab breeders throughout the Midwest after the dogs are retired from breeding. Annabelle Acres focuses on the physical, mental, and social health of retired breeder Labrador Retrievers. Plus, lots and lots of LOVE. Once our labs are ready for a family, we search for prospective adopters that best fit the dog's behaviors and capabilities. Most adopters have ties to military veterans, first responders, seniors, and young families who prefer to adopt an adult Labrador Retriever.
