The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC) is the county's only open-admissions municipal shelter, providing care for homeless, abused, and neglected animals while ensuring public safety. We take in all animals, from pets to wildlife, and offer daily care, enrichment, and medical attention. Through adoptions, public services, and outreach, we promote responsible pet ownership. Our Foster, Rescue, and Volunteer programs save even more lives. Animal Services Officers are on call 24/7 to handle emergencies, including abuse, neglect, and wildlife concerns.
